Our first "REAL" Christmas Tree

Yesterday we bundled Mel up and went to go cut down our first real Christmas tree.  We went for a small tree but ended up with an enormous one.  Next year we will have to remember that they look smaller than they really are in nature...  Today I got to decorate two trees!  We put our fake one in the front of the house and our beautiful "giant" in the family room.  Jarod got the Christmas lights up on the house.  And we are finally decorated for Christmas.  It only took until the 11th of December. 
I have stuff going every night this week except for Thursday.  And somehow my goal is to finish baking and buying gifts.  (While of course, entertaining my 8 month old.)  That way we can really enjoy our weekend before Christmas and not worry about scurrying...  Which is what we always seem to be doing.
