Another Fun Filled Weekend

We began our weekend Saturday morning at the March of Dimes, "March for Babies". It was great to see so many people supporting such a great cause. It's also interesting to see how many families that are affected by premature births. It's definietly an event we will try and do every year. Next year we'll need to make our own team shirts. I felt like we were the only group there without a "team" shirt. After, the walk we met friends for strawberry picking in Illinois. The strawberries were AWESOME! We've only picked strawberries once before and they left something to be desired. However, they said the crop this year was the best and earliest they have every had. You could sit down in one spot and just pick as many perfect, red, juicy berries that you wanted. The little girls all had red stained mouths and sticky hands by the time we were done. I'm very tempted to go back again this week and get a ton of berries to make jam with... Tonight we're having a family dinner and dessert is strawberry shortcake! I can't wait.
