3 Weeks Old!

Today our little girl is 3 weeks old.  She is getting so big.  It's hard to believe that it's already been three weeks since the day we were told that she was going to need to make an appearance.  She is just the most precious little girl in the world.  We were told that she is 3 lbs. 5 oz. today.  Whew...she's packing on the pounds fast.  (Which is wonderful, she was way too skinny when she was born.  It broke her mommy's heart.)  We're still trying breastfeeding.  It hasn't been the easiest task for both mother and child.  Jarod laughs as I kind of gasp as it hurts me, and she will grunt as I pull away from it hurting, trying to get more.  We both seem to be struggling and having a hard time.  We'll get there though.  She's just so small.  I think it will be easier when she gets a little bigger.  She's certainly trying.  She gets really cranky if you with hold food from her.  She seems to be doing great.  The nurses keep turning down the temperature in her isolette too. She's making progress!
