First Doctor's Appointment & First Bath

Today Melanie had her first appointment with Dr. Madden.  We were VERY impressed with both Dr. Madden and the office.  Melanie is doing well.  She gained 3 ounces since she came home from the hospital.  We were worried she wasn't gaining weight.  We see him again in two weeks for a weight check if not before then.  If we think she needs to be checked we are supposed to call.  However, we feel much more comfortable now that we know she gained weight during the last two days. 
Melanie also had her first bath today.  It's not her first bath since she was born, but the first bath that Jarod and I gave her and experienced.  She HATED it.  It was absolutely traumatic for her.  She looked so cute in her little tub! 
You can tell we are both new parents.  Jarod just ran to the store with a list for groceries and we are going to cook dinner when he gets back.  it's 8 p.m.  I estimate we will eat dinner around 10.
