Melanie has been doing pretty well. She's been nippling well. Her nurse even told me the other day that she could just breastfeed and didn't need a bottle also. She said if she didn't get enough it wasn't a big deal because she didn't need to become a butterball. She's been gaining weight like crazy. We think she will be four pounds over night tonight. She had a few problems a few days back with d-sats over night. Her nurse had to touch her to get her to breath and supposedly her coloring changed. Poor thing. She hasn't had any since then so that's a relief. She had an eye exam that day and they said sometimes the eye drops effect things. She will be four weeks old tomorrow and will be a month old on Wednesday. She has come so far in a month. She's a trooper and a fighter. We love her so much!
